The acquisition marks a further step in Simon Brien’s continued growth across Northern Ireland and significantly strengthens its lettings and property management offering, particularly across the Belfast metropolitan area.
Founded in 1995, The Rental Company has built a strong reputation as a specialist lettings business, having remained exclusively focused on residential lettings since its establishment. It is widely recognised as one of the leading and most established letting agents in East Belfast, with a loyal client base and deep local market expertise.
The integration of The Rental Company into Simon Brien’s lettings and property management division brings together two highly regarded businesses with aligned values and complementary strengths, particularly in the areas of compliance, customer service and local market expertise. The combined operation will trade as Simon Brien Lettings and will be led by Lesley Anne Moore.
As part of the transaction, The Rental Company’s office on Bloomfield Avenue will be rebranded under the Simon Brien name, further enhancing Simon Brien’s presence in East Belfast and expanding its network to nine offices across Northern Ireland.
Landlords and tenants can expect continuity of service, with the existing team remaining in place, alongside access to the broader infrastructure, systems and reach of the Simon Brien business. The enlarged platform will support continued growth while maintaining a strong focus on service delivery and ensuring landlords are supported in an increasingly regulated environment.
